How to Make Your Corporate Trainings Captivating, Practical & Unforgettable — the SuperME Way

How to Make Your Corporate Trainings Captivating, Practical & Unforgettable — the SuperME Way

As a seasoned trainer, you already deliver skills.
Now it’s time to spark transformation.

Because in today’s high-pressure world, your participants aren’t just looking to learn…
They’re looking to feel again — clarity, motivation, meaning.

This is where SuperME comes in — to help your training deliver results from the inside out.

✅ OBJECTIVES:

You want your sessions to be:

  1. Memorable

  2. Talked about and recommended

  3. Applicable with visible outcomes

Here’s the SuperME method to make that happen:

🧭 1. Anchor the Room with PURPOSE (Before You Even Begin)

Before the session starts, do this:

  • Write your Purpose Statement for the session (e.g., “To help participants discover one breakthrough they can act on within 24 hours.”)

  • Greet each person individually (if possible) with presence and warmth

  • Play a short, moving video (with local context if possible) that connects to your training purpose

Ask participants at the start:

“Why did you choose to be here today — beyond the HR letter?”
“What result would make today worth it for you?”

This awakens ownership and makes the session personal.

💖 2. Teach With LOVE (Not Pressure)

Government and corporate staff are used to KPI talk, deadlines, and stress.

Stand out by being:

  • Calm, human, and empathetic

  • Willing to pause and reflect, not just rush through slides

  • Interactive without being cheesy

Tactics that work:

  • Use their real challenges as case studies (get these ahead of time from HR)

  • Pair them up for quick “Human Moments” (e.g., “What’s one thing you’re proud of that nobody here knows?”)

  • Acknowledge tension in the room and soften it with humor or truth

Say often:

“This is a safe space. We’re not here to be right, we’re here to rise.”

Love makes the content stick — because you made them feel safe and seen.

🙏 3. End with GRATITUDE That Shifts the Soul

Don’t end with a checklist or a rushed Q&A.
End with a moment that moves them.

Ask:

“What’s one thing you’re grateful for today — about yourself?”
“What’s one strength you saw in someone else here today?”

Then do this:

  • Leave a blank card and ask them to write a “PLG” to someone at work
(P: their Purpose today, L: one thing they loved, G: one thing they’re grateful for)

  • Ask them to give it to that person before tomorrow

This creates ripple effects in their office — and they’ll credit it to your session.

🧰 WHAT TO LEAVE THEM WITH:

  1. A SuperME Anchor Card
    With 3 questions:

    • “Am I in alignment with my Purpose right now?”

    • “How can I show Love in this task?”

    • “What can I be grateful for in this challenge?”

  2. A 24-Hour Challenge
Ask them to apply one insight within the next 24 hours — and email you what happened (optional).
Example: “Try this new method with a colleague. Observe the shift. Share it.”

  3. A Group Memory
End with a photo and a line like:

“Today, we didn’t just learn. We awakened. You brought your SuperME into the room.”

🎯 WHY THEY’LL REMEMBER IT:

  • Because you didn’t just “transfer knowledge”

  • You made them feel powerful, seen, and reconnected to their human side

  • You made learning emotional, real, and immediate

🌀 SUPERME TRAINER MANTRA:

“I don’t train for applause. I train for awakening.
I don’t impress minds. I unlock hearts.
Because when people become their SuperME,
they don’t just work better.
They live better.”

If Not You, Who Else?

I learnt this very powerful 5-word phrase from Singapore's highest ever box-office movie ever: "Ah Boys to Men II". In one scene, the recruits were about to start their 3-day field camp.  Their Officer-in-Command asked them, "Before we moved out, anybody not feeling well?"  All the soldiers replied loudly, "No Sir!!!" "Gentlemen", continued the Officer, "Every time the training gets tougher, one thought comes to your mind, 'Why Must I Serve National Service?' "My answer to you is, 'If Not You, Then Who Else?'" Wow!  What a powerful phrase!  If Not You, Who Else may mean: You are the most suitable person, and we can't find anyone better than you.  This is appreciation at the highest level How can you push this responsibility to someone else? I am making a request to you specifically, please don't reject my request Can you find me another person more suitable than you? Please refer me anot...

How I Became a Fortune Teller: Leveraging NLP, Fear and Greed, and Motivational Theories

Becoming a fortune teller wasn’t part of my childhood dreams. It started as an experiment, fueled by my curiosity about human behavior and the subtle forces that drive our decisions. Over time, what began as a study of psychology and human interaction evolved into an unexpected career—one where I use the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), the primal drivers of fear and greed, and motivational theories to help people uncover their paths. The First Step: Understanding the Human Psyche I was always fascinated by why people do what they do. During my university years, I studied psychology, particularly the works of Abraham Maslow, B.F. Skinner, and Victor Vroom. Their theories provided insights into motivation, reinforcement, and decision-making. But I wanted to move beyond the academic realm and see how these theories worked in real life. Around this time, I discovered NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This framework for understanding communication and behavior is based on the...
