WIN WITHOUT FIGHTING AND SELL WITHOUT SELLING

Many trainers teach Sun Tzu Art of War. Some conduct 3-days courses and go very deep into the book.  Others teach you in simple terms.  We at Asia Trainers don't just teach you the art of war, we put the application of the art of war at the centre of our courses.  Since conducting Art of War in 2010, we have conducted Art of War for Leadership, Customer Service, Productivity and Innovation and also Sales.  The most valuable lesson of the Art of War 13 chapters of 5,000 words is found in the 3rd chapter: Win Without Fighti ng. 不战而胜 In war the best thing is to take the enemy state whole and intact; to ruin it is inferior to this. To capture the entire army is better than to destroy it. Hence, to win on hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is supreme excellence, or simply win without fighting How does it apply to your sales?  1.     "Enemy" here refers to not your competitor...

36 Stratagems 三十六计 Mysteriously used by Sun Tzu

The Thirty-Six Stratagems 三十六计 is a unique collection of a mysterious ancient Chinese military book that describes not only battlefield strategies, but tactics used in psychological warfare to win with deception. Its origins are unknown, and no one knows who is the author or compiler. The modern version is derived from a tattered book discovered at a roadside vendor's stall in China in 1941. It turned out to be a reprint of an earlier book dating back to the late Ming or early Qing dynasty entitled, The Secret Art of War or The Thirty-Six Stratagems 三十六计. A reprint was first officially published for the general public by a government-related printer in Beijing in 1961. Today most scholars agree that the Thirty-Six Stratagems is likely a collection of idiomatic expressions taken from popular Chinese folklore, history, and myths.   Here are the 36 Stratagems in listing and our translation in simple English: Stratagems When You’re in Superior Positions 1.  ...
