Your consciousness has no form or shape but it can perceive a sense object (e.g. a car) and take in sense objects in various forms and shapes. The mind travels afar, it can go back time (even to your past lives if you can remember) or the future (we call it dreams). Your mind wanders alone and has no physical form.
But your consciousness appears and vanishes very quickly. Early in the morning, you wake up and read something negative in the newspaper. This affects your mind. In time to come your physical attributes (e.g .your temper, character etc) would also be affected. Imagine if you were to be born and brought up in a war torn country where killing and all kinds of sin are common. Your mind would be trained this way and in time to come your physical appearance (like your face) would also be changed to be more wary and not peaceful.
Bearing in mind that your physical forms are slow to change but your mind can change in an instant, you can easily tame your mind and in time your physical form would also change.
That's why we should reform our minds. To improve your mind, you should monitor your mind everyday and tame your unruly mind. After years of such mind training you as a person would develop enough self-esteem to have a noble mind.
Same for our corporate, management and sales training. What we are doing is actually taming of your mind. We do it in a non-invasive way, and indirectly by equipping you with the tools, strategies and tactics through our various topics. Among the various things we do, the following 8 are the minimum that we train your mind to become:
- Positive
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Open (to possibilities, to divergent views)
- Enduring
- Young (we 'grow' your mind by expanding your horizons)
- Calm (by getting you to look at things from a non-violent and angry manner)
- Skilled. By equipping with many ideas and strategies, we train your mind to be skilled
- Skilful.
