I bring out the strategist in each participant

Sun Zi Bing Fa (Art of War) is from Yijing, because Win Without Fighting is what it advocates.

I, Andy Ng, have been teaching courses on The Art of War since 2009. In August 2025 alone, I conducted two one-day classes on August 1 and 11. The attendees included many non-Chinese individuals, mostly from the government sector.

I incorporate Yijing elements into my teaching, and I focus on applications in day-to-day life

Because true strategy is not about defeating others—it’s about mastering the self, aligning with the unseen forces, and moving with Heaven’s timing.

In all my Sun Zi Bing Fa programs, I don’t just teach tactics—I train inner generals. I bring out the strategist in each participant. Whether you’re a policymaker, a business leader, or a frontline officer, you’ll walk away with clarity, conviction, and calm power.

Through the lens of Yijing, I help people decode the invisible. Each of the 13 chapters in Sun Zi’s work reveals timeless wisdom that can be applied not only in boardrooms or battlefields, but in tough conversations, personal conflicts, and strategic decisions.

I translate complex ancient texts into living insights.
My students learn:

  • How to win without fighting—by shifting energy, changing timing, and using perception to their advantage.

  • How to spot the hidden traps—such as ego-driven decisions, misaligned teams, or wrong timing.

  • How to strike when the time is ripe—the true meaning of “兵贵神速” (Speed is Divine).

That’s why my classes attract more and more non-Chinese leaders—because truth transcends language. And when they discover that ancient Chinese strategy can transform modern challenges, they are blown away.

August 2025 is just the beginning. I foresee a wave of interest in Heart-based Strategy, where leadership is not about crushing others, but creating harmony, lasting influence, and invisible strength.  There is a SuperME Unleashed course on 6 August 2025, details at https://asiatrainers.org/smu1d

If you’re tired of reactive firefighting and want to operate like a strategist who sees five moves ahead—come train with me.

As Sun Zi said:
“To win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.”

That’s what I teach. And that’s the new era of leadership the world needs.

If Not You, Who Else?

I learnt this very powerful 5-word phrase from Singapore's highest ever box-office movie ever: "Ah Boys to Men II". In one scene, the recruits were about to start their 3-day field camp.  Their Officer-in-Command asked them, "Before we moved out, anybody not feeling well?"  All the soldiers replied loudly, "No Sir!!!" "Gentlemen", continued the Officer, "Every time the training gets tougher, one thought comes to your mind, 'Why Must I Serve National Service?' "My answer to you is, 'If Not You, Then Who Else?'" Wow!  What a powerful phrase!  If Not You, Who Else may mean: You are the most suitable person, and we can't find anyone better than you.  This is appreciation at the highest level How can you push this responsibility to someone else? I am making a request to you specifically, please don't reject my request Can you find me another person more suitable than you? Please refer me anot...

How I Became a Fortune Teller: Leveraging NLP, Fear and Greed, and Motivational Theories

Becoming a fortune teller wasn’t part of my childhood dreams. It started as an experiment, fueled by my curiosity about human behavior and the subtle forces that drive our decisions. Over time, what began as a study of psychology and human interaction evolved into an unexpected career—one where I use the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), the primal drivers of fear and greed, and motivational theories to help people uncover their paths. The First Step: Understanding the Human Psyche I was always fascinated by why people do what they do. During my university years, I studied psychology, particularly the works of Abraham Maslow, B.F. Skinner, and Victor Vroom. Their theories provided insights into motivation, reinforcement, and decision-making. But I wanted to move beyond the academic realm and see how these theories worked in real life. Around this time, I discovered NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This framework for understanding communication and behavior is based on the...
