We often are caught between telling the truth and telling what people want ot her.   Thomas Sowell said: “When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.” Simple. But uncomfortable. Because if we’re honest, most of the time people don’t reject truth, they avoid it. That’s exactly why I wrote Love Intelligence and built the Love Intelligence coaching system. Not to motivate people. Not to impress people. Not to make people feel good for a moment.
