Robert Cialdini’s 6 Principles of Influence Meet Love Intelligence (LQ)

When Robert Cialdini’s 6 Principles of Influence Meet Love Intelligence (LQ)

Have you ever felt this before?

You speak with logic, but people don’t listen.
You give good advice, but your team doesn’t follow.
The more you explain, the more they resist.

It’s not because you lack ability.
It’s because you haven’t tapped into the real force that makes people listen, trust, and follow.

And that force is not IQ.
It’s not EQ.
It is Love Intelligence — LQ.

When I combined Cialdini’s Influence with Love Intelligence

In my 29 years of training, I’ve studied almost every influence model out there.
The most famous, of course, is Robert Cialdini’s 6 Principles of Influence:

  1. Reciprocity

  2. Commitment & Consistency

  3. Social Proof

  4. Authority

  5. Liking

  6. Scarcity

These principles are powerful.
But I discovered something important:

Without love, influence becomes manipulation.
With love, influence becomes inspiration.

People are not persuaded by pressure.
People are moved by love.

Cialdini + Love Intelligence = Ultimate Influence Formula

Here is what happens when each principle gets amplified by Love Intelligence’s 3Cs: Care, Courage, Connect.

1. Reciprocity + Care

Reciprocity isn’t “I give you something so you must return.”
Real reciprocity is:

“I care about you, so I’m here for you.”

When people feel genuine care,
their hearts open — naturally.
Reciprocity becomes effortless.

2. Commitment + Courage

Courage is a form of love.
Courage means you dare to speak the truth,
dare to take the lead,
dare to be consistent even when it’s difficult.

When leaders demonstrate courageous consistency,
teams follow without being pushed.

3. Social Proof + Connect

Social proof relies on numbers.
Connection relies on hearts.

When people feel seen, understood, and respected by you,
your influence increases without effort.

Connection transforms influence into cooperation.

4. Authority + Love-Based Authority

Authority based on title is shallow.
Authority based on character and heart is unshakeable.

When you lead with love instead of fear,
people follow you not because they have to—
but because they want to.

That is true authority.

5. Liking + Authentic Love

Cialdini says people follow those they like.
Love Intelligence says:

People like those who make them feel valued.

When you operate with Care, Courage, and Connection,
people feel safe around you —
and they naturally like and trust you faster.

6. Scarcity + the Scarcity of Real Love

The rarest thing today is not money,
not knowledge,
not technology.

The rarest thing is love with sincerity.

AI can copy language, tone, and style.
But it cannot give genuine warmth, courage, or connection.

That’s why when a human leads with love,
every word carries more weight.

Love is the new scarcity.

If you want to be heard, trusted, and followed…

You don’t need more persuasion techniques.
You don’t need more logic.
You don’t need to speak louder.

You need Love Intelligence.

Love Intelligence helps you:

  • influence without forcing

  • lead without stress

  • communicate without conflict

  • inspire without pressure

  • and create trust that lasts

Leadership is not about control.
Influence is not about techniques.
Both are expressions of love in action.

If you want to unlock this power —
the power that makes people naturally listen, respond, and follow —

How I Became a Fortune Teller: Leveraging NLP, Fear and Greed, and Motivational Theories

Becoming a fortune teller wasn’t part of my childhood dreams. It started as an experiment, fueled by my curiosity about human behavior and the subtle forces that drive our decisions. Over time, what began as a study of psychology and human interaction evolved into an unexpected career—one where I use the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), the primal drivers of fear and greed, and motivational theories to help people uncover their paths. The First Step: Understanding the Human Psyche I was always fascinated by why people do what they do. During my university years, I studied psychology, particularly the works of Abraham Maslow, B.F. Skinner, and Victor Vroom. Their theories provided insights into motivation, reinforcement, and decision-making. But I wanted to move beyond the academic realm and see how these theories worked in real life. Around this time, I discovered NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This framework for understanding communication and behavior is based on the...

If Not You, Who Else?

I learnt this very powerful 5-word phrase from Singapore's highest ever box-office movie ever: "Ah Boys to Men II". In one scene, the recruits were about to start their 3-day field camp.  Their Officer-in-Command asked them, "Before we moved out, anybody not feeling well?"  All the soldiers replied loudly, "No Sir!!!" "Gentlemen", continued the Officer, "Every time the training gets tougher, one thought comes to your mind, 'Why Must I Serve National Service?' "My answer to you is, 'If Not You, Then Who Else?'" Wow!  What a powerful phrase!  If Not You, Who Else may mean: You are the most suitable person, and we can't find anyone better than you.  This is appreciation at the highest level How can you push this responsibility to someone else? I am making a request to you specifically, please don't reject my request Can you find me another person more suitable than you? Please refer me anot...
