Yin and Yang in Life

You must have heard of the words Yin and Yang.

Everything in this world is made up of Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang combine in a complementary manner and form a method for explaining relationships between objects.

Under yang are the principles of maleness, the sun, creation, heat, light, heaven, dominance, white, exposed, hardware, and sky.

Yin is the principles of femaleness, the moon, completion, cold, darkness, material forms, submission, black, hidden, software and ground.

Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts.

Note that Yin and Yang are not absolutes, Yin and Yang change all the time, a Yin can become a Yang, and Yang can turn into a Yin.

Also, everything has both yin and yang aspects. For instance, shadow (Yin) cannot exist without light (Yang), inside the male hardness (Yang) there is the soft side of helpfulness (Ying).
