Secret Formula of Brian Tracy

How Brian Tracy’s Formula Quietly Reveals the Power of Love Intelligence

When I first came across Brian Tracy’s “universal equation of results,” it looked like a productivity formula.

But when I read it again with Love Intelligence in mind, I realised something powerful:
Results = (Clarity of Goal × Concentration) ÷ Distractions

1. W — Clarity of Goal = Courage

You cannot be clear if you don’t dare to be honest with yourself.
They fail because they don’t dare to admit what they truly want.
It is removing self-deception.

2. C — Concentration = Care

You care enough about your goal to protect your attention and energy.
Care is your ability to prioritise what truly matters.
In LQ terms, this is care that creates momentum.

3. T — Time of Distractions = Connection (to yourself)
They procrastinate because they don’t feel their purpose.
They fill silence because they cannot connect inward.
And when T goes down, results go up.

The Formula Becomes an LQ Formula
Results = (Courage × Care) ÷ Disconnection
When you increase care
When you increase connection
Your results compound.

Why This Works in the Real World
Your results came not from tactics
but from inner clarity, focus, and reconnection.
The breakthroughs never came from frameworks alone.
They came from helping people see clearly, focus deeply, and reduce emotional noise.

The LQ Application You Can Use Today
1. Courage (Clarity): Write down your one true goal for the next 30 days.
2. Care (Concentration): Choose one action daily that moves that goal forward.
3. Connection: Remove one distraction from your life for seven days.
These small removals can raise your results instantly.

Put it all together
Love Intelligence gives the soul.
With love, the formula becomes transformational.

This is actually an LQ formula in disguise.

Here is the original:

R = (W × C) ÷ T

If you look closely, every variable is rooted in the 3Cs of Love Intelligence.

Clarity requires courage.

Most people don’t fail because of lack of ability.

Clarity comes from asking:

  • What do I really want now?

  • What chapter of my life am I stepping into?

  • What am I no longer willing to tolerate?

These questions require courage to answer truthfully.

In Love Intelligence, courage is not shouting louder.

When you live with LQ courage, your W becomes very high.

Focus is an act of care.

Care is not “soft.”

When you care:

  • You stop multitasking.

  • You choose what deserves your energy.

  • You stop scattering your qi.

In Yijing terms, this is strength from within.

When you apply LQ care, your concentration multiplies.

Most distractions happen because people are disconnected from themselves.

They scroll because they can’t feel their own emotions.

When you reconnect to yourself — even for 1 minute — distractions lose their power.

Connection in LQ means:

  • You check in with yourself before checking your phone.

  • You listen to your body before reacting.

  • You honour your energy instead of forcing outcomes.

Connection reduces T dramatically.

When you rewrite Brian Tracy’s equation using Love Intelligence:

That is the heart of Love Intelligence.

When you increase courage

Look at your own journey.

When you shifted from “WeChat trainer” to “Yijing teacher” to “Love Intelligence architect,”

When you led teams or taught government directors,

That is Brian Tracy’s formula powered by Love Intelligence.

Be brutally honest.

Just one. Consistency beats intensity.

Notifications, someone’s drama, unnecessary meetings.

Brian Tracy gave the structure.

Without love, the formula is mechanical.

The Secret Under the Mattress: Why would a 79-year Man Bet So Big on 4D?

It was 2007 when we discovered his secret. While moving my father’s mattress, we found them: heaps and heaps of Singapore Pools 4D tickets. They were stacked in layers, a paper trail of lost hopes. What shocked us most wasn’t just the volume, but the stakes. He wasn’t betting a few dollars for fun. He was punting hundreds of dollars per draw—nearly ten times a month. At the time, my siblings and I were furious. Our father was a 79-year-old retiree. We wondered, with a mix of anger and confusion, why a man at his stage of life would need to win such "big money." What was he going to do with the money? We saw it as a reckless habit, a sign of poor judgment in his final years.  Some of us would say, "If I were to give him money to buy 4D, why don't I use the money and buy 4D myself?  At least I have better discipline".  It has taken me two decades, and the experience of raising my own three grown-up children, to finally see the truth that was hidden under that matt...

Head Bleeding when the Chair Falls

The Weight of Silence: What Were We Really Arguing About? My earliest memories are punctuated by the sound of shouting. In 1970, when I was barely 6 years old, I stood as a small witness to the fierce quarrels between my father and my late eldest brother Kah Yang (he passed away in 1971 at the age of 17). As I grew up, these contradictions became the soundtrack of our lives, usually centered around our family's shoe shop and clothing stalls in Chinatown. In the court of family opinion, the verdict was almost always the same: my father was "wrong." He was judged as a man who didn't fulfill his role, who wasn't "burdening" enough for the family’s success. But as I look back from the vantage point of 2026, I have to ask: Was that actually true? Let me finally put to rest what my father did right: the truths that were buried under decades of criticism: Unseen Labor: He worked grueling, long hours. I remember him hauling boxes of goods and equipment to set u...
