Lead Right When No One Is Watching

Why Trust Matters More Than Intelligence in the AI Era

When was the last time…you knew what was right…but you didn’t do it?

Not because you are a bad person.

But because the pressure was high. The stakes were real.
And the consequences were uncomfortable.

Today, AI can do many things better than us. It can analyse. It can generate ideas. It can sound intelligent.

But there is one thing AI cannot do.

AI cannot decide what is right.

And that is why in the AI era, the real question is no longer: ‘How smart are you?’

The real question is: Can you be trusted?

I once met a manager who delivered results every quarter.

Targets hit. Numbers strong. ut his team avoided him.

People complied…but they did not commit.

When things went wrong, no one spoke up.

Why?  Because they did not trust him.”

He had intelligence. He had strategy.

But he lacked something more important.

Connection.

Results can get you promoted.

But trust determines how far you go.

Just take a moment.

Think of someone you work with.

Do you fully trust them?

And more importantly…Do they trust you?”

The Solution — Love Intelligence

Knowing what is right is not enough.

Many people know. But they still don’t act.

Why?

Because doing the right thing…often comes with a cost.

That is why we need something more.

I call this Love Intelligence.

hree things:

Care — understanding people
Courage — doing what is right
Connection — building trust”

This is not soft.  This is strategic.

A participant once told me this.

She was asked to push through a deal. Legally fine. But ethically questionable.

Everyone said: ‘Just do it.’”

She said no.

Short term — she lost the deal.

But something else happened.

Her team trusted her more. Her clients respected her more.

And better opportunities came.

That decision looked like a loss.  But it became her greatest asset.

Because…trust compounds.

Many people think strategy is about winning at all cost.

But the highest level of strategy is this:

Win… without losing trust.

Because once trust is broken,

everything becomes harder.

In the AI era, intelligence will become common.

Answers will be everywhere.

But three things will become rare. Very rare.

People who:

• do what is right
• have the courage to act
• and can build deep trust”

That is why I wrote this book Love Intelligence

to help people develop these capabilities.

And this Sun Tzu Sales Secrets

…to show how to win without losing trust.

If this resonates with you, you can get each book at $35 or #39.9 for 2. Contact me at andythecoach@gmail.com to grab this time-limited offer.

Because in the end…your success will not depend on how much you know.

But on…how much people trust you.

How I Became a Fortune Teller: Leveraging NLP, Fear and Greed, and Motivational Theories

Becoming a fortune teller wasn’t part of my childhood dreams. It started as an experiment, fueled by my curiosity about human behavior and the subtle forces that drive our decisions. Over time, what began as a study of psychology and human interaction evolved into an unexpected career—one where I use the tools of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), the primal drivers of fear and greed, and motivational theories to help people uncover their paths. The First Step: Understanding the Human Psyche I was always fascinated by why people do what they do. During my university years, I studied psychology, particularly the works of Abraham Maslow, B.F. Skinner, and Victor Vroom. Their theories provided insights into motivation, reinforcement, and decision-making. But I wanted to move beyond the academic realm and see how these theories worked in real life. Around this time, I discovered NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This framework for understanding communication and behavior is based on the...

If Not You, Who Else?

I learnt this very powerful 5-word phrase from Singapore's highest ever box-office movie ever: "Ah Boys to Men II". In one scene, the recruits were about to start their 3-day field camp.  Their Officer-in-Command asked them, "Before we moved out, anybody not feeling well?"  All the soldiers replied loudly, "No Sir!!!" "Gentlemen", continued the Officer, "Every time the training gets tougher, one thought comes to your mind, 'Why Must I Serve National Service?' "My answer to you is, 'If Not You, Then Who Else?'" Wow!  What a powerful phrase!  If Not You, Who Else may mean: You are the most suitable person, and we can't find anyone better than you.  This is appreciation at the highest level How can you push this responsibility to someone else? I am making a request to you specifically, please don't reject my request Can you find me another person more suitable than you? Please refer me anot...
