We are living in a time when machines are becoming smarter every day.
AI can now write articles, analyze markets, diagnose diseases, and even generate strategies faster than most humans.
So the question is no longer:
“Can AI do the work?”
The real question is:
“What will make humans still valuable?”
Many people think the answer is skills.
Others think it is knowledge.
But after studying and teaching the wisdom of Yijing for many years, I realized something deeper.
What ultimately determines success is not just intelligence.
It is energy.
Two people can have the same skills, the same knowledge, even the same opportunities.
But the one with higher energy, clarity, and alignment with change will always move further.
In the language of Chinese wisdom, this energy is called 气 — Qi.
And the Yijing teaches us how to cultivate it.
Let me share a simple story.
Years ago I met two business leaders.
Both were highly educated. Both had strong technical expertise. Both were working in the same industry.
One of them was always stressed.
Every change in the market made him anxious. He reacted quickly, but often emotionally.
His team felt the pressure. His decisions became inconsistent.
Over time, his company stagnated.
The other leader behaved very differently.
When things changed, he didn’t panic.
He observed first. He asked questions. He reflected.
Then he acted.
His team trusted him.
His company adapted faster.
Same industry. Same challenges.
But completely different results.
The difference was not intelligence.
The difference was energy.
One leader reacted to change.
The other aligned with change.
This is exactly what Yijing teaches.
Yijing shows us that the world is always moving through cycles.
Nothing is permanent.
Success comes from understanding how to move with change rather than fighting it.
Let me share five Yijing Wisdom that raise your energy level.
Wisdom 1 — Balance Yin and Yang
The first principle is balance.
In life and leadership, extremes are dangerous.
Too much aggression creates conflict.
Too much caution creates stagnation.
The Yijing reminds us: Harmony creates strength.
Balance your work and rest.
Balance thinking and action.
Balance logic and intuition.
When Yin and Yang are balanced, your energy becomes stable.
Wisdom 2 — Understand Patterns of Change
Yijing uses the Bagua and the 64 Hexagrams to describe patterns of change.
Instead of reacting blindly, wise leaders ask:
What stage is this situation in?
Is this the beginning of growth?
The peak of success?
Or the start of decline?
When you understand patterns, you stop fighting reality.
You start working with reality.
And your decisions become much clearer.
Wisdom 3 — Cultivate Inner Stillness
In a noisy world, stillness is power.
Today we are constantly distracted by phones, messages, news and social media
But clarity does not come from noise.
It comes from stillness.
Yijing encourages reflection before action.
When the mind becomes calm, judgment becomes sharp.
You see what others cannot see.
Wisdom 4 — Respect Cycles
Everything moves in cycles: markets, wars, technology, careers, relationships
When something rises too fast, it eventually slows down.
When something declines, it eventually renews.
The wise person understands timing.
Sometimes the best strategy is not pushing harder.
Sometimes the best strategy is waiting for the right moment.
Wisdom 5 — Return to Oneness
The deepest teaching of the Yijing is oneness.
Everything in life is connected.
People respond to sincerity.
Teams respond to trust.
Customers respond to genuine care.
This is where my work on Love Intelligence comes in.
Love is not weakness.
Love is the ability to create human resonance — 人间共鸣.
When people resonate with you, cooperation becomes natural.
Your energy multiplies.
So if there is one thing to remember, it is this:
In the AI era, machines may surpass us in speed and data.
But human energy, wisdom, and alignment with change will always matter.
And that is exactly what Yijing teaches.
If you would like to learn this deeper, I have two simple ways for you.
